THIS is the ORIGINAL Doodle Rescue Collective. We have been “collectively” and responsibly listing, rescuing and placing Labradoodle & Goldendoodle dogs in need throughout North America since 2008. Please DO NOT be fooled by “others” using OUR name and identity claiming to be “the real and only doodle rescue collective.”

Oodles of Doodles, Inc. is a Recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, charitable organization since NOVEMBER 2010.

We are comprised of a “collective” of volunteers dedicated to Poodle, Doodle, Schnoodle and Poo-mix rescue, rehome and education. Oodles of Doodles provides foster homes, vet care, rehabilitation, transport and quality forever homes for dogs in need. We also provide support services and educational resources for owners and rescuers and re-home assistance for those needing to find new forever homes for their family pets. We have been listing, rescuing and supporting rescue since 2008.

 THIS project was begun in 2008 on another website as “Doodles in Need.” In January, 2009.

We have been in continuous operation since January 19, 2009. 

It continues to be a dream of friends.

OODLES of DOODLES RESCUE COLLECTIVE DOES NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL BUILDING, WE USE PARTNER FOSTER HOMES where our dogs learn socialization skills and prepare for their Forever Homes. WE PULL, VET AND LOVE OUR FOSTERS AND PUT THEIR WELFARE FIRST, IN FINDING THAT PERFECT FOREVER HOME.

WE ARE A GROUP OF DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS SPECIALIZING IN OODLE: POODLE, POODLE-MIX, LABRADOODLE, GOLDENDOODLE, SCHNOODLE DOGS and FUZZY TERRIERS.

WE WORK COLLABORATIVELY with other rescues, responsible breeders, shelters and owners to ensure no Oodle dies in a kill-shelter or goes homeless. 

Our REHOME SERVICE helps to keep family dogs off Craigslist and “Free to a Good Home” ads. Those methods can lead to disaster for pets. Our Rehome Service is free to rehomers and dogs are advertised to people specifically looking to adopt these kinds of dogs. All applications are forwarded to the Families who have the dogs and with assistance, references are checked, home checks are done and dogs are placed in homes according to their needs on contract. We aid with vetting if needed to ensure healthy, happy dogs are rehomed. Your donations help to keep this service free. As with other rescues, we will not force you to surrender your dog to us, but will help you do what is best for your dog. Moving from home, to foster home, to adopter IS NOT what is best for your dog.
